Day #2 Pinterest Hate

Ok.. So I took a break from my Pinterest project. I needed it. It was draining!

I borrowed a small hand sander from my dad and went to town on the top of my kitchen table and chairs. It was really quite liberating. After a few minutes, I was sure the surface was ready to take paint.



I also added a second coat of paint to the table legs. Coverage was much better this time around although I can see a third coat may be required.

 

My DIY-ing was cut short pretty quickly when my 6 year old came down with the stomach flu- joys of motherhood. Looks like my dining room will remain under construction for a few more days until this passes.
